Kabar yang menyebut gelandang asal Thailand, Charyl Chappuis diminati dua raksasa Liga Inggris, Manchester United (MU) dan Liverpool dibantah oleh klubnya, Suphanburi FC.
Pimpinan klub Warawut Silpa-archa menyebut rumor itu sebagai hal yang tidak berdasar.
Sebelumnya, sempat merebak rumor yang menyebut MU, Liverpool, dan beberapa klubb Eropa lain akan mengontak Suphanburi untuk mendapatkan pemain berusia 24 tahun itu.
"Itu cuma rumor yang tidak berdasar. Faktanya ada banyak rumor tentang masa depan Chappuis tapi itu tidak benar," ungkap Warawut Silpa-archa.
Silpa-archa juga mengatakan sejauh ini tidak ada sinyal ketertarikan dari klub Eropa manapun.

"Saya tidak menerima sinyal ketertarikan apapun dari MU, Liverpool, atau klub Eropa lain."
"Saya ingin mengonfirmasi bahwa Chappuis akan tetap bersama Suphanburi," tegasnya.

Chappuis merupakan salah satu pemain yang berjasa membawa Thailand menjuari Piala AFF 2016.
Sebelum membela Suphanburi, Chappuis juga pernah merumput di Eropa, tepatnya di negara kelahirannya, Swiss.
Di Swiss, ia bermain bersama Grasshoppers, Locarno, dan Lugano hingga akhirnya pada tahun 2013 Thailand menjadi persinggahannya.

Previously, it was spread a rumor that mentions Manchester United, Liverpool, and several other European klubb would contact Suphanburi to get a 24-year-old player.
"It was just an unsubstantiated rumor. In fact there are a lot of rumors about the future of Chappuis but it's not true," said Warawut Silpa-archa.
Silpa-archa said so far there was no signal of any interest from European clubs.
"I did not receive any signals of interest from Manchester United, Liverpool, or any other European club."
"I want to confirm that Chappuis will remain with Suphanburi," he said.
Chappuis is one of the players who helped the Thailand menjuari AFF Cup 2016.
Before defending Suphanburi, Chappuis also once grazed in Europe, precisely in the country of his birth, Switzerland.
In Switzerland, he performed with Grasshoppers, Locarno, and Lugano until finally in 2013 Thailand became sojourn.
