Chelsea pun mendapat keuntungan besar karena Shanghai menebus Oscar dengan biaya transfer yang sangat besar yakni 60 juta pounds.
Padahal Chelsea hanya membeli Oscar dengan biaya 27 pounds kepada Internacional pada 2012.
Itu artinya Chelsea mendapat keuntungan sebesar 33 juta pounds hasil penjualan Oscar.
Namun Oscar bukanlah satu-satunya pemain yang memberikan keuntungan buat Chelsea saat dijual ke klub lain.
Hal yang sama pernah terjadi pada bek David Luiz, Romelu Lukaku dan Ramires.
David Luiz dibeli Chelsea sebesar 21 juta pounds pada 2011 dari klub Portugal Benfica dan pada saat dijual ke Paris Saint-Germain, dia dihargai 50 juta pounds.
Lukaku dibeli pada 2011 dari klub Belgia Anderlecht sebesar 18 juta pounds dan dijual ke Everton sebesar 30 juta pounds.
Dan terakhir Ramires dibeli dari Benfica pada 2009 sebesar 19 juta pounds dan dijual ke klub Tiongkok Jiangsu Suning sebesar 35 juta pounds.
