Jokowi admitted that he had signed the regulations and ready to run.
"No (confusion). It's been my signature. Only at the plenary session I said, watch out for things that relate to the community. Be careful for the things that can provide charging more to the community. Since its inception, Jokowi had warned the ministers to calculate correctly and carefully increase in all fees that will be charged to the people. So that people are not too heavy to get service.
"Anything always I say, calculations, calculations must all be calculated. And I think that now is enlivened is the problem of the cost of vehicle registration. But still many do not understand, yet also pay vehicle registration, only comment on it. I need to emphasize that the ride is BPKB vehicle registration and administration fees, "said Jokowi.
Former Jakarta governor was confirmed, the rising costs of vehicle registration arrangements are intended to improve services. Moreover, administrative costs do not ever rise since 2010. Jokowi ensure it will oversee the implementation of these new rules.
"The increase is aimed to provide faster service, the better. Because it since 2010 in the Police had never done tariff adjustment. I think any increase will I follow to ensure that its service is also better and faster," said Jokowi.
