President Joko Widodo health of the nation's capital to compete

President Joko Widodo said, health is the nation's capital to compete in the global arena. Governments pay attention to the health sector in order to strong human resources.

"I want our country to compete with other countries. The capital is what? The capital is human resources," said Jokowi Health Ministry in a written statement received here on Monday.

The President visited several cities in Central Java on them to perform supplementary feeding or PMT. According to the President, HR can promote competitive power of the nation when in a healthy state.

No less important in the health of these is the emergence of healthy children who will become the next generation. "Capital yes our kids, both are still in the womb as well as children who are in school. They are featured next-generation candidate. For that, we need to keep our children," he said.

The government, the President said, seeks to provide additional nutrition to children so that future generations successor nation increasingly brilliant.

"Supplementary nutrition for children is very important, whether unborn or still in the womb, and who are still children. The benefit is not for now but for the coming 10 years or 20 years into the future so that we become a nation of excellence," said he.

He said the government since 2015 seriously addressing nutrition by providing supplementary food (PMT) as one nutrient control efforts.

Health Minister Nila F Moeloek said supplementary feeding activity or in a number of areas aimed at addressing the problem of nutrition.
