Salah satu warga yang mengurus BPKB sepeda motornya, Dewi (40) mengatakan bahwa biaya mengurus BPKB yang awalnya hanya Rp 80 ribu, sudah naik menjadi 225 ribu. Ia pun mengeluhkan kenaikan yang hampir tiga kali lipat tersebut.
"Menurut saya berat banget ya, kalau bisa kalau naik bertahap lah, jangan sampai tiga kali lipat langsung. Setidaknya misalnya dari harga Rp 80 ribu menjadi Ro 100 ribu atau Rp 120 ribu," ujar Dewi usai mengurus surat kendaraannya tersebut.
Selain itu, menurut Dewi, seharusnya pemerintah memberitahukan kenaikan tarif tersebut setidaknya tiga bulan sebelumnya, sehingga masyarakat dapat melakukan persiapan.
"Misalnya, oh tarif mau naik nih, jadi ntar bisa bayar duluan, jadi kan gak kaget, gak shock juga," ucapnya.
Sebelumnya, pemerintah mengklaim kenaikan tarif tersebut dilakukan untuk meningkatkan pelayanan kepada masyarakat. Namun, menurut Dewi, pelayanannya tak berbeda dari sebelumnya.
Hal senada juga disampaikan warga lainnya, Amir Kurniawan (44). Menurut dia, kenaikan tersebut terlalu memberatkan masyarakat. Ia pun ke depannya meragukan bahwa polisi dapat meningkatkan pelayanannya.
"Sepertinya gak logis dan saya gak percaya lah polisi bisa menaikkan pelayanan tiga lipat seperti kenaikan harga itu," ujar Amir.
Sementara, warga lainnya asal Pasar Minggu, Andika (18) justru merasa pelayanan pengurusan balik nama BPKB di Polda Metro Jaya sudah mulai membaik. Pasalnya, di dalam gedung tersebut juga sudah ada Polwan yang melayani.
"Tadi lebih cepat, sama polisinya lebih banyak yang menangani. Jadi kalau nanya langsung ditanggapi, lumayan enak walaupun naiknya banyak," kata dia.
